Amy James - Director, Global Accounts
Amy has been a Global Accounts Manager with HelmsBriscoe in the Nashville area since August 2007. Her 10+ years as an Event Planner started in Fort lauderdale, Fl where she was the Special Events Coordinator at one of the largest and fastest growing churches in the United States. There, she was a HelmsBriscoe client and often coordinated retreats, conferences, concerts - even stadium events! After leaving her position there and moving to Nashville, TN in 2004, Amy started her own event consulting and planning company - in 2007, when a client asked her to coordinate their annual summit and golf tournament, she immediately called her HB contact who told her she should consider a career with HB - the rest, as they say, is history!
Amy's passion is to travel and meet new people - whether in NYC or the Dominican Republic, she likes to "go where the locals go" and meet the people! Embracing her Italian heritage, she feels almost "at home" in Italy, and dreams of living there... one day. Most fulfilling, she has also had the opportunity to serve on a medical team in India after the tsunami and work with orphanages in Honduras.
