Beatrice “Bea” Flammia joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2023. Based out of Wakefield, Massachusetts, she is a site consultant, working with meeting planners to simplify their meeting venue selection process. Her passion is not only knowing her customers’ needs, but also understanding the culture of each organization the planner represents. She believes this is pivotal in selecting the right environment for each conference, and she looks forward to creating exceptional client experiences in her role with HelmsBriscoe.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Bea has received Fairmont’s President’s Award for Sales and was also recognized as Conference Services Manager of the Year for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. She ascended from an entry-level position to becoming Director of Catering and Conference Services and was one of four regional leaders selected by the corporate office to fulfill the role of Corporate Director of Conference Services. In this role, she was tasked with standardizing how meetings and customers were serviced throughout each hotel department. Bea formerly served on the board for MPI New England. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater from The University of Massachusetts, Boston, and she enjoys gardening and traveling with her husband.
