Bea Kay Freeh joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts, in 2014. Based out of the Greater Atlanta area, she made the move to HelmsBriscoe after more than 15 years in the events and meetings industry where she managed and oversaw the planning, development and execution of multiple event lifecycles, timelines, and budgets. As part of the largest and most trusted site selection firm, Bea Kay can incorporate greater purchasing power and world class solutions to assist organizations secure hotel rooms and meeting space domestically, as well as globally.
Bea Kay has extensive industry experience, having worked at MedAssets as a corporate event planner where she managed a team of 10 planners and oversaw their iconic industry event, The Healthcare Business Summit, growing attendance by more than 350%. Her greatest strength involves contract negotiations—she saved her previous company over $1 million by reducing rates, increasing the number of concessions and minimizing their risk. She is a Certified Meeting Planner and member of the Georgia chapter of Meeting Professional International. Bea Kay graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Management. Her vast event experience, as well as her management and collaboration skills can be a great resource for any organization to ensure the successful execution of their meetings and events!
