Brittany O'Shaughnessy

Brittany O’Shaughnessy joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2017. Based out of Charleston, South Carolina, Brittany provides a global perspective and a passion for creating innovative experiences. With more than 11 years of experience working in the evolving event planning and hospitality industry, she helps her clients find the best venues for their worldwide meetings, conventions and events. Brittany works with corporate, association, social and non-profit organization planners. Her consulting services include sending requests for proposals, contract negotiations, and site inspection arrangement. She believes in building lasting relationships and works hard to understand each client’s strategic goals.

Brittany’s career began at the esteemed Sanctuary Hotel on Kiawah Island, followed by many years representing independent historic hotels along the east coast. She is an active member in Meeting Planners International (MPI), where she served on the Board as Director of Marketing with her local chapter. A proud alumna of the College of Charleston, Brittany received a bachelor’s degree with a focus in hospitality, tourism management, events, convention management and business administration. Brittany and her husband, Michael, have two puppies and love exploring exciting hobbies and watching Turner Classic Movies. Their favorite cities to visit are Venice, Rome or anywhere in Ireland.
