Carme Buisan joined HelmsBriscoe in January 2013. Based in Barcelona, Carme helps organizations by searching and contracting hotels and venues for their meetings, thus saving them time and money. It is very important for her to have deep knowledge of the client, understanding their problems and needs in order to offer them the most appropriate solution. All her knowledge, acquired during more than 25 years working in the tourism sector, is at the client’s disposal, her experience in searching and negotiating hotels and venues, her advice to optimize expenses in Meetings & Events, her spirit of service with special attention to details and all this together with the negotiation and purchasing power of the HelmsBriscoe network with the main goals of achieving client’s success and maximum satisfaction.
Carme studied in Barcelona. After obtaining a degree in tourism (CETT University-1990) and another in Professional Congress Organizer (CTD-1990), she subsequently studied Marketing at the prestigious ESADE University and several PDPs at Cornell University (NY- USA). Carme's first years of professional experience were in Barcelona at the DMC Ultramar Express (TUI Group), organizing events and incentives, including the Olympic Games in Barcelona 1992. She later moved to the Dominican Republic to build, design and manage the Luxury Boutique Hotel Sivory Punta Cana. Her professional career has always been related to hotels, rates negotiations and contracts, which has given her the necessary experience to help her current customer portfolio.
Carme Buisan se unió a HelmsBriscoe en Enero de 2013. Desde Barcelona, Carme ayuda a empresas y asociaciones a buscar y contratar hoteles y espacios para sus convenciones y reuniones ahorrándoles tiempo y dinero. Para ella es muy importante conocer en profundidad al cliente, entender sus problemas y necesidades para de este modo ofrecerles la solución más adecuada en cada momento, poniendo a su disposición todos los conocimientos adquiridos durante más de sus 25 años trabajando en el sector turístico, su experiencia en buscar y negociar hoteles y venues, sus consejos para optimizar los gastos en Meetings & Events, su espíritu de servicio con especial atención a los detalles y todo ello unido a la fuerza de negociación y poder de compra que ofrece el network de HelmsBriscoe con el objetivo de lograr el éxito de sus clientes y su máxima satisfacción.
Carme realizó sus estudios en Barcelona. Después de obtener un grado en turismo (Universidad CETT-1990) y otro en Profesional Congress Organizer (CTD-1990), posteriormente realizó estudios de Marketing en la prestigiosa Universidad ESADE y varios PDP en la Universidad de Cornell (NY- USA). Los primeros años de experiencia profesional de Carme fueron en Barcelona, DMC Ultramar Express (Grupo TUI), organizando eventos e incentivos., incluidos los Juegos Olímpicos de Barcelona 1992. Posteriormente se mudó a República Dominicana para construir, diseñar y gestionar el Luxury Boutique Hotel Sivory Punta Cana. Su trayectoria profesional, siempre ha estado relacionada con los hoteles y la negociación de tarifas y contratos, lo que le ha proporcionado la experiencia necesaria para ayudar a su actual cartera de clientes.
