Gwen Bennett joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts bringing nearly 10 years of hospitality experience from the hotel and resort industry, as well as knowledge of meeting planning for trade associations and corporate groups. She is a passionate, hardworking individual with strong people skills, and is fully dedicated to a customer-centric approach. Gwen values a supportive and highly communicative relationship with her Clients, and she finds this instrumental in securing “perfect-fit” opportunities for her Clients' meetings and conferences. Having been on both sides of the table, her goal is to provide a seamless experience for the Client, ensure ultimate satisfaction with every property, and follow up for event valuation. Gwen enjoys educating her Clients in contract negotiation, cost savings, and keeping them up-to-date on industry policy and standard. Gwen grew up moving around the country with her family, experiencing the unique differences of each region, and developing a passion for travel and the ideals that drive great service. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, while acquiring first-hand training from industry leaders and directors. Having earned her CMP, she is qualified to handle the detailed work of planning events, negotiating contracts, and finding the perfect venue for each meeting. Gwen currently lives in Chicago, IL with her husband and daughter. When she isn’t working, you can always find her in the kitchen baking something sweet!
