Julie Powers, CMP joined HelmsBriscoe in 2008 after more than 20 years as a corporate meeting planner. Based out of Indio, California, Julie utilizes her global knowledge and meetings experience to help her clients in locating the best venues for their meetings and incentive trips. Her key strengths are in the areas of negotiation, organization, and venue sourcing. Julie’s love of the meetings industry and her great relationships with her clients and international industry contacts have made her forever career the best she could ever have imagined.

Julie is a past president of Meeting Professional International’s Southern California chapter and has received their Top Leadership Award and the Meeting Planner of the Year award in 2016, as voted on by her peers in the meetings industry. Julie has also been recognized as a HelmsBriscoe top producer and has received the HB President’s Club award. Outside of the meeting’s industry Julie loves cooking, traveling, and her two dogs, Bailey and Koko, who are also her assistants and keep her happy throughout the day.
