"Once you start in this industry, it gets in your blood and you’ll never leave it" was the quote that Kari brushed off back in 1989. Twenty-plus years later, the travel industry has changed, but Kari’s passion for it hasn’t.
After 14 years of travel management, Kari joined the global leader in meetings procurement, HelmsBriscoe, to focus on group events. Leveraging the collective knowledge of more than 1200 associates in 40 countries she delivers world class service and site selection solutions for all her clients. Kari is dedicated to ensuring the details required to make each and every event, no matter the size, are successfully delivered. Her positive attitude, paired with outstanding execution and follow up, assures you have a partner, whose focus brings added negotiation power to your next event.
In addition to her travel background, Kari has served in various capacities on the Board of Directors for Camp Fire MN, as well as franchise and association boards. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of MN and actively continues the development of her meeting planning and consulting profession. When not working with her clients, you can find Kari enjoying photography, biking, outdoor events, baking, spending time with family & friends, and of course the four seasons of Minnesota.
