Wendy Kammer

Wendy Kammer, Manager, Global Accounts, joined HelmsBriscoe in October 2009. She has more than 25 years of hospitality management experience. Wendy’s education and sales background provide her Clients with the best service for site selection and contract negotiations. She received a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from University of Missouri-Columbia: Interdisciplinary with Concentration in Business/Speech and Communications and Sociology. She began her career at the Hilton Daniele Hotel in Clayton Missouri as a Sales Manager, then moved to Maritz Travel Company as a Senior Travel Director, Senior Travel Project Head, and Senior Travel Buyer. Throughout her career she has gained extensive knowledge in managing all aspects of events, from design to implementation. Her experience encompasses site selection, contract negotiations, sales, food and beverage, event management and results analysis. She has planned meetings and events from 10 to more than 5,000 attendees. She understands the meeting planners' expectations, event goals and responsibilities first-hand. Wendy enjoys building personal relationships with her Clients and looks forward to exceeding expectations. A few of Wendy's strengths are a genuine work ethic with an attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a whatever-it-takes attitude. She is excited to be on the HelmsBriscoe team serving her diversified clientele. Wendy truly understands the customer and supplier relationships and takes gratification in supporting her Clients in achieving their financial goals. Wendy is active in the community, in her church, in her children’s school, and a leader and board member of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. Wendy resides in Kirkwood (St. Louis) Missouri with her husband Denny, son Joe, and daughter Mary Clare. Confidence, integrity, discipline and vision have been key drivers in her success.
