Angela Derecas Taylor - Manager, Global Accounts
Angela Derecas Taylor joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2018 after a hiatus from the hospitality industry while raising her family. Based out of the New York metro area, Angela has extensive local knowledge of the region, and more than 20 years of industry experience working and living in other parts of the United States and Caribbean Islands.
Prior to joining HelmsBriscoe, Angela worked as part of the opening Meetings and Convention Services team at the El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico. She was also the Meeting and Convention Services Manager at the Chicago Fairmont, as well as the Director of Events and a Senior Sales Manager at the original Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. Angela also held positions as the Director of the Ney Center for Executive Leadership at Young and Rubicam, and as a Sales and Catering Director in the private Charter Yacht Industry. Angela has traveled extensively, and looks forward to putting her industry and destination knowledge to work on behalf of her clients.
