Carrie O’Connor joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2024. Based out of Point Clear, Alabama, she is a seasoned meeting planner who is skilled at streamlining the site selection process and helping her clients deliver exceptional group experiences.

Prior to joining HelmsBriscoe, Carrie served as an event director for two of the nation’s top group travel publications where she spent nearly two decades producing conferences and trade shows for meetings and sports industry executives. In this role, she gained valuable insight into all components that make a meeting successful and cultivated trusted relationships with destination teams, hoteliers, and facility managers throughout the U.S. Carrie is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Strategy and International Affairs. Her expertise in site selection and contract negotiation, attention to detail, and adaptive approach to meeting planning make her a valuable extension of any team.
