Julienne Thomas

Julienne Thomas joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2016. Based out of Arlington, Virginia, she has a diverse hospitality background and comprehensive understanding of all of the components that make a meeting successful. Julienne has lived in California (San Diego, Riverside, Big Bear, Mammoth Lakes, Lake Tahoe, Carmel), New England (Boston, MA and Newport, RI), Puerto Rico (Vieques), the DMV (Laurel, MD; Washington, DC; and Arlington, VA), and Germany (Berlin). She also spent a month working in New Orleans, LA and Abu Dhabi, UAE. This extensive portfolio of travel has allowed her to visit and understand a variety of the different venues available for meeting planners across the world. She is knowledgeable, energetic, detail-oriented, and looks forward to using her industry experience to assist her clients in achieving their meeting objectives.

With two decades in the hospitality and event planning industry, Julienne has traveled and booked events throughout the United States and Europe. She has worked in various hotel operations positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts and managed VIP operations with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. She received a master's degree in Hospitality Administration (MHA) from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. Julienne lives with her husband, John, and her children, Jackson and Gigi. In her spare time, she shares her knowledge and experience as an Adjunct Professor at Johnson & Wales’ College of Professional Studies. She loves to travel, take photos, and is an eternal student.
