Cheryl Schreiner

Cheryl Schreiner, Managing Director, joined HelmsBriscoe in 1999 and is based in Jacksonville, Florida. She holds a hospitality degree from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an MBA in Business from Nova Southeastern University. Her extensive 40-year career in the hospitality industry includes experience with Sheraton and Marriott in various roles across the country. She is a member of the North Florida MPI chapter and has held various board positions, including Director of Leadership, Diversity and Membership Chair, and President. As a member of the HelmsBriscoe leadership team, she is also honored to mentor new HelmsBriscoe Associates.

Cheryl has earned the HB President’s Club award consistently since 2002, and has also been recognized as a member of the Executive's Club and Master's Club. In 2005, she was named as Top Producer for ResourceOne, HelmsBriscoe’s full-service meeting management firm, and in 2010, she was honored as the Top Cruise Producer. In 2015, she earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation and was promoted to Regional Vice President with HelmsBriscoe. In 2017, she completed her Certified Meeting Manager (CMM) training, which is a program associated with the renowned University of Virginia Darden School of Business that addresses topics like risk mitigation, business analytics, compliance, and strategic negotiation. In 2024, she began a three-year term on the Experience Grand Rapids Customer Advisory board, and in 2026, she became a Certified Meeting Professional Fellow through the Industry Events Council, emphasizing professional development and excellence within the industry.
