Christine Smrtka joined HelmsBriscoe in May 1998, and has enjoyed working with a vast range of both corporate and association Clients, customizing solutions for their meetings and events worldwide. Her expertise in venue site selection and contract negotiations helps to streamline the meeting planning process for her Clients, while recommending the best venue options for successful, cost-effective programs. Christine’s Clients appreciate her attention to detail, willingness to go the extra mile, and partnership in sharing the collective goal to deliver exceptional events that exceed expectations. She is passionate about the meetings and hospitality industry, and attributes her success to her ability to anticipate and fully understand her Clients’ needs, while being their strongest advocate.
Christine is a 22-year veteran of the hospitality industry, and prior to joining HB, she held various hotel positions in executive administration and operations, public relations, and both global and on-property sales. A proud graduate of the University of Michigan, Christine has travelled the globe extensively and has lived overseas in Nantes and Berlin. Christine currently resides in Southern California, where she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, running, yoga, and alpine skiing.
