After 19 years in various sales roles with Hyatt, Sheraton, The Ritz-Carlton, and The Heathman Hotel in Portland, Oregon, Barbara joined HelmsBriscoe in January of 1997. She has been a top producer and recipient of HelmsBriscoe’s President’s Club award each year since 1999. She has also received numerous awards from Meeting Professionals International, including Planner of the Year, Mentor of the Year twice, and Rising Star. With her experience and professional knowledge, she brings a high level of comfort and confidence to her clients.

Barbara is active in the industry, having served two terms on the Oregon Society of Association Managers’ Board, and two terms on MPI’s Oregon Chapter Board of Directors. She also served as the 2011 Conference Vice Chair and Education Co-Chair of the Oregon and Washington State MPI chapters’ annual Cascadia Educational Conference, and as Oregon Conference Chair of the joint 2012 CEC. She attended the University of Mississippi, loves college sports, and enjoys golfing with family and friends. She lives with her husband and precious Goldendoodle in the High Desert area of Central Oregon.
