Claire O’Connell joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2026. Based out of Lincolnshire, England, she gained a unique perspective by previously working on the client side of venue sourcing, allowing her to identify the right venues with an understanding of what organisers truly need.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Claire has worked in a variety of different industry sectors, including pharmaceuticals, FMCG, construction and rail, and more recently, the charitable sector for professional societies. Having held a variety of positions throughout her career, from hands-on event management to senior director-level roles, she understands the needs and priorities of different stakeholders. This experience allows her to help clients navigate their options and find the right solution to meet objectives, audience expectations, and budget.
