Danita Bass joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2026. Based in Accokeek, Maryland, she specializes in hotel and venue sourcing for meetings, conferences, and group programs. She helps clients identify properties that align with their vision, budget, business objectives, logistical needs, and desired guest experience. Bringing an entrepreneur’s perspective to every engagement, she evaluates venue options with careful consideration of the complete meeting experience, including location, accommodations, meeting space, dining, and access to local experiences. She values collaboration with trusted hotel partners and believes people may attend a meeting for its purpose, but they remember how the experience made them feel.

With more than 20 years of experience in hospitality, business development, strategic partnerships, and event operations, Danita has coordinated catering, transportation, vendors, sponsorship outreach, event design, and guest services for programs serving more than 500 attendees. As an entrepreneur and business consultant, she has supported more than 50 small businesses and worked with corporate, nonprofit, institutional, community, and faith-based organizations. Her hands-on understanding of business strategy and event execution enables her to anticipate client needs, identify value, and advocate confidently throughout the site-selection and hotel-contracting process. Danita is committed to making venue sourcing organized and efficient while helping clients transform their meeting vision into an experience that is polished, purposeful, and memorable.
