I began my career with HelmsBriscoe in June of 2009. However, my travel industry Career has spanned over 30 years. While in the travel industry I have had an extremely positive view of HelmsBriscoe associates. Almost all of the associates I have come in contact with have been sharp, intelligent and knowledgeable travel industry professionals. And that is one of the key reasons I was attracted to joining the Helms Briscoe team. I have always prided myself in working with the best, and HelmsBriscoe associates are the best! During that time I have been involved with full service travel agencies, corporate travel departments, hotels, convention centers, airlines, cruise companies, and dozens of travel related vendors, both nationally and internationally. I have experienced many, many situations that have challenged me and the companies I have worked for. Please allow me to share my travel knowledge with you and your organization. I have been actively associated with American Society of Travel Agents, (ASTA), Association of Retail Travel Agents, (ARTA), Meeting Professionals International, (MPI) and National Business Travel Association, (NBTA) my entire career. I have also been in involved with Cruise Lines International Association, (CLIA). I have held local and national positions of leadership with these professional travel organizations. I am a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and hold a Certified Travel Counselor certification (CTC), from Wellesley College, MA. I have also completed numerous Continuing Education Units(CEU), in areas such as hotel contract law, bargaining and negotiations, Strategic Meeting Management Program(SMMP), and other related courses relative to travel. My career in travel has spanned over 30 years!
