John Gillespie rejoined HelmsBriscoe in May of 2026, bringing more than 30 years of hospitality sales experience across global hotel sales, airlines, and travel management companies. Prior to the pandemic, John spent seven successful years with HelmsBriscoe, earning multiple President’s Club awards for his performance and client partnerships. Most recently, he served as Director of Group Travel at BWH Hotels, where he strengthened relationships with planners and supported a diverse portfolio of domestic and international properties. His extensive background, combined with deep expertise in contract negotiations and venue sourcing, makes John a highly valued resource and trusted partner to his clients.

John and his wife, Aimee—a 19‑year HelmsBriscoe veteran—live in Oxford, Mississippi. They relocated from the Chicago market to be closer to three of their four children who chose Ole Miss for college. Now with five grandchildren nearby, John and Aimee enjoy golf, community life, and cheering on Ole Miss baseball and football throughout the year.
