James Liao joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2015 and is based in Shenzhen, China. His career in hospitality started at The Forum Hotel in Shenzhen, where he was Director of Banqueting. James then joined Hilton Shenzhen as Director of Business Development, where he was responsible for key accounts.

James later took on a senior leadership role as Project General Manager at Shenzhen Air International Hotel Management Company, overseeing general management and operations. He was General Manager at the Palm Spring Golf Club Shenzhen before he joined HelmsBriscoe in China to assist with brand development and account servicing.
