Jim joined HelmsBriscoe in May of 1994 as Regional Vice President—the 13th Associate to join the ranks. After 10 years at the corporate headquarter office in Scottsdale, Arizona, Jim now works out of Atlanta, Georgia, with a diverse group of corporate and association clients. Jim was inducted into HelmsBriscoe’s distinguished Hall of Fame in 2009 for contributions to the company since joining.

Jim is a graduate of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, and a long-time veteran of the hospitality and meetings industry. Prior to joining HelmsBriscoe, he held leadership positions with Richfield Hospitality Management Corporation, Registry Hotels, and Hilton Hotels. After decades of advocating for today’s event planning teams, his mission is to secure the best available venues, best pricing, and best terms for his clients, while optimizing time and resources to maximize efficiency. In today's time-compressed business environment, saving time, money, and a few headaches is a business model that is here to stay. Keeping this mission clear and simple has been the key to Jim's success.
