Based in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, Karina Sabodash joined HelmsBriscoe in 2026 as Manager, Global Accounts. She has over 10 years of experience in MICE, corporate sales, hotel marketing, and business development. Throughout her career, she has worked with hotels, corporate clients, and event organisers, helping to deliver successful meetings, conferences, and events. She also had the opportunity to be part of the pre-opening team for a luxury hotel project.

Having spent many years working on the hotel side of the industry, Karina understands both the needs of hotels and the expectations of event planners. She enjoys meeting new people and believes that genuine relationships are one of the most valuable parts of the hospitality industry. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, reading books about hotels, computer gaming, hiking, and exploring New Zealand's beautiful landscapes with family.
