Linda Jacobsson Asting

Linda Jacobsson Asting joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2011. Based out of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, she serves Clients globally for venue selection and meetings, especially from Scandinavian markets (being Swedish herself). She is passionate about travelling, the event industry and the hotel market, and truly enjoys being able to sell any hotel brand in the world depending on her Clients’ needs.

With more than seven years of industry experience, she has lived in five countries and worked with tourism and events in Australia, UAE, Europe and the Caribbean. She holds a marketing master’s degree diploma from Stockholm University as well as a diploma from the Tourism Academy in Sweden, a two-year-long entrepreneurial leadership program within tourism and events. She moved to Dubai in 2007 and worked with local tour operators and event planning. Working in such a multicultural area and dealing with hotel contracting in UAE gave her the contacts and experience to join HelmsBriscoe in 2011. Linda’s promise to her Clients is to always provide honest and updated information, and she lives by the rule of quick responses at all times -as well as mutual respect for both industry Partners and Clients.
