With a career built on precision, communication, and service, Lauren brings a uniquely disciplined and people-focused approach to meetings and hospitality. Beginning her professional journey in the United States Navy, Lauren served as an Air Traffic Controller from 2005–2010, earning a degree in Aeronautical Science and developing a foundation in high-pressure decision-making, logistics, and operational excellence.

Following military service, Lauren relocated to Chicago to study journalism, sharpening her skills in storytelling, research, and strategic communication—tools that continue to inform a consultative, client-first mindset. This transition led naturally into hospitality, starting as a Sales Coordinator with Choice Hotels and evolving into nearly a decade of experience across the Chicago hotel market, working with a wide range of hotel brands and ownership structures. After returning home to Michigan, Lauren stepped into leadership roles as a Social and Corporate Sales Manager within boutique hotels, partnering closely with clients to design meaningful events while navigating complex logistics, negotiations, and expectations.
