Mulemwa Moongwa

Mulemwa Moongwa, CMM, CED, and HMCC, joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2024. Based in Lusaka, Zambia, she is ready to help you curate the most memorable business events by leveraging the diverse natural and cultural attractions across your destination of choice. She is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and advocates for the growth of the meetings industry across Africa. As part of this advocacy, she holds various leadership positions, including Chairperson of the Zambia Institute for Tourism & Hospitality Studies, Board Member of the Zambia Airports Corporation Limited, Founding Vice Chairperson of the Events Professional Association of Zambia, Vice Chairperson of the Council of Events Professionals in Africa (CEPA), and member of the African Society of Association Executives (AfSAE).

Mulemwa brings a wealth of experience to her role with HelmsBriscoe, having worked as an independent planner for 18 years, 10 of which were spent in the financial sector. She has specialised in government and corporate events, crediting her stakeholder management skills as her secret weapon for flawless execution. In 2025, she was recognised by Meetings Today as one of the Top 25 Meeting Trendsetters in the events industry.
