Nelly Dimitrova joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in January of 2026 and is based in Toronto, Canada. As a seasoned event professional, she supports fellow event planners in sourcing, negotiating, and securing the best-suited venues and destinations for their programs.

Nelly brings over 15 years of international experience across hospitality, medical congresses, and B2B events. She has led the planning and execution of large-scale programs of up to 2,500 attendees, managing multi-venue logistics and budgets of up to $5 million. Prior to joining HelmsBriscoe, she held roles with organizations, including Hilton, PwC, and Kenes Group, building deep expertise in venue sourcing, contract negotiation, sponsorship strategy, event management, sales, and revenue growth. Nelly holds an MBA from City University of Seattle and a postgraduate certificate in Sport and Event Marketing from George Brown College.
