Serena Cossu joined HelmsBriscoe in 2023, bringing extensive international experience in the meetings and events industry. Throughout her career, she has worked across a wide range of sectors, including leading the EMEA events portfolio at Cvent and managing multi-million-euro projects for the European Commission. She has a strong background in delivering complex B2B conferences and global events and has developed a deep expertise in strategic venue sourcing and event planning. She understands that selecting the right venue is a critical factor in the success of any event and has successfully organised conferences and corporate meetings across Europe and worldwide.

Known for her passionate, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach, Serena is also an integral part of the HelmsBriscoe EMEA support team, where she contributes to the organisation of the HB EMEA Annual Team Meeting and other special projects. Originally from Italy, she built a successful career in London, where she lived for over 15 years before relocating to Madrid in 2024.
