Sarah O’Brien joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2023. Based out of Chicago, Illinois, Sarah takes pride in delivering first-class service to corporate and association clients by serving as an extension of their teams, becoming intimately familiar with their programs, and matching them to their ideal venues. Sarah collaborates with hotels to ensure each contract provides her clients with everything they need for a successful event.

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Sarah is an event planning veteran with strong industry relationships, next-level negotiation skills, and unmatched attention to detail. Prior to joining HelmsBriscoe, Sarah worked for medical associations planning citywide conventions and launched an event consulting business. She earned her CMP designation in 2015. Sarah lives on Chicago’s northwest side with her husband and two daughters.
