Sylvia van Rooijen - Associate Regional Vice President
Sylvia joined HelmsBriscoe in 2016, and is based in Rotterdam, the second largest city in the Netherlands. She is a graduate of the Hotel Management School in Maastricht, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in hotel administration. After graduation, she started her career at Center Parcs Europe. After a few years, she made the switch to the hotel industry, and has since worked for several hotel chains, including Starwood and Hilton. She is fluent in English and Dutch and comfortable speaking French and German.
With many years of experience in revenue management, business development and conference and event management, she focuses on acquiring an in-depth understanding of each client’s unique requirements. Her strong interpersonal skills give Sylvia the knowledge and professionalism to meet and exceed the expectations of both clients and suppliers. With the ability to negotiate the best contractual conditions, and armed with HelmsBriscoe’s robust buying power, Sylvia works hard to achieve her clients’ goals and objectives. She is a reliable entrepreneur who will provide the highest level of service to clients.
