Todd Whalley

Todd Whalley joined HelmsBriscoe in 2026 as Manager, Global Accounts. Based in Mandeville, Louisiana, he serves clients in the oil and gas, advanced manufacturing, and industrial sectors. His honors include the 2020 IEDC Gold Award for Business Retention and Expansion Initiatives and the 2022 U.S. Department of Commerce President’s “E” Award for Export Service. Todd has held leadership roles as president of the Louisiana Society of Association Executives, president of the MPI Gulf States Chapter, and member of the MPI International Chapter Leadership Committee. He also received the MPI Gulf States Rising Star Award and was elected by his peers to the National Association of Sports Commissions Board of Trustees, where he co-chaired the national marketing committee. A member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Todd specializes in housing for confidential projects involving industrial expansions, mergers, and acquisitions.

Todd brings more than 30 years of industry experience across convention and visitors bureaus, hotel sales, sporting-event housing, destination golf marketing, and economic development. His background includes roles as director of sales for a CVB, regional director of sales for a hotel chain, third-party housing lead for sporting events, director of marketing for a destination golf club, and director of existing business and industry for an economic development agency. This broad experience gives him a practical understanding of business needs, stakeholder priorities, and customer expectations, enabling him to guide clients effectively through every stage of the planning process.
