Yasmin Shah joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2025 and is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. With over 12 years of experience in the hospitality and events industry, Yasmin brings a deep understanding of meeting and event planning, client service, and hotel operations to her role. Before joining HelmsBriscoe, Yasmin held a variety of leadership positions that shaped her career and passion for the industry. She most recently served in event sales management at the Lake Nona Wave Hotel in Orlando. Prior to that, she spent over a decade with Columbia Sussex, serving in various roles, including Catering Sales Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, and Director. Her tenure with Columbia Sussex allowed her to participate in task force assignments across different hotel brands, giving her exposure to diverse markets and operational styles. These roles allowed Yasmin to not only refine her skills in hospitality management, but also gain valuable experience in training, onboarding, and leadership. Her hands-on experience in multiple departments has provided her with a well-rounded perspective that she now uses to anticipate her clients’ needs and ensure seamless event planning.
