Advancements in technology and Artificial Intelligence are becoming increasingly common and more accessible. What was once considered a futuristic possibility seen only in high-tech fields or movies is now a reality. Whether it be in your Google search results, the videos and images you see posted to social media, or in the responses you get from chatbot support on your favorite websites, most of us now encounter AI in some form on a daily basis.
Our company has and always will be based upon human connections and interactions; however, we are not unaware of the fact that AI continues to change how our industry operates. We have started to see AI woven into the fabric of meeting planning to help automate tasks, develop content, enhance audience data collection, and streamline marketing efforts. Hotels are also using AI to personalize guest experiences, enhance customer service, and improve operational efficiencies.
At HelmsBriscoe, we continue to monitor the latest in AI trends throughout our industry, as well as explore ways in which we might be able to utilize AI to better serve our clients and support our Associates and partners. For example, we are running and evaluating several internal and external pilot programs involving automation and AI to see how we may be able to take advantage of new technology to enhance our current service offerings.
While I don’t believe that AI can ever replace the value of human connection, contribution, and idea generation, we will always stay open to new opportunities for improvement, adapt to change, and continue to find the best and most efficient ways to meet and surpass the needs of our clients.
