At the end of June, our company held our 33rd Annual Business Conference in Toronto, Canada. We had outstanding attendance, with HB Associates and hotel, destination, and industry partners attending from all over the world. The energy at the event was palpable, and it was amazing to see the strength of our partnerships in action.
The conference opened with an Associate Education Day, during which our HB Associates gathered to learn, idea-share, and enhance their business and client service acumen. The official conference kick-off took place at the Opening General Session, during which a panel of HelmsBriscoe corporate team members and executives shared insights with our Associates and partners about the inner workings of our company, as well as our goals for the years ahead.
The bulk of this presentation centered around our company’s three primary focus areas— adaptation, service, and core. With so much changing in our world, particularly around technology, our company is focused on adapting to the latest tools and trends in ways that make a positive difference for our clients, Associates, and partners. As part of this, we believe tech can enhance, but never replace, the human element of the service we provide, and we are dedicated to ensuring that never wavers. Adaptation and service are incredibly important, but only so far as they support and enhance our core business, which is, and always will be, to provide the best solutions, support, and venue options for our clients’ needs.
After the Opening General Session, our partners and Associates gathered for the Partner Fair. The Partner Fair is a two-day event during which hotel and destination partners meet with HB Associates to discuss bookings, venue details, destination information, and more. HB Associates and partners bring real-world business opportunities, top-of-mind priorities, and client inquiries, creating an ideal environment for addressing current client needs, events, and meetings.
