Helms, Roger 00004

Earlier this month, I attended IMEX America alongside thousands of hospitality professionals, and it is always a great way to see our industry come together. The main goal of HelmsBriscoe’s attendance at IMEX is to reconnect with our hotel and destination partners, as well as forge new relationships, ultimately fostering connections that allow us to better serve our clients. Each day of the event was full of productive meetings, networking time, and opportunities to drive and grow business, all with our clients’ best interests in mind.

Throughout the event, a primary sentiment shared by many was that group bookings continue to be a major driver in our space. It has been truly impressive to see group business remain so resolute. This only highlights the fact that in-person meetings are a “need-to-have” and not a “nice-to-have” for organizations looking to accomplish their goals, grow their businesses, and connect with their stakeholders.

It’s a privilege to work in such a resilient sector of our industry, and with the final quarter of 2025 upon us, I wanted to use the last newsletter of the year to take a moment to thank all of our clients and Associates. It’s because of you that the hospitality sector recognizes the importance of face-to-face meetings, and it’s you who allows the core driver of our company to provide stability to the industry, despite any uncertainties in our macro environment.

As we look towards the end of the year, the holidays, and the New Year to come, we are thankful to work alongside each of you, and we look forward to seeing what 2026 has to bring.
